Dear Guest,

It is my passion to share the art of enjoying food to its fullest potential with others. This teaching takes many forms, whether I am giving classes in my teaching kitchen, helping with the harvest of the olives at Stella Cadente, or planning and executing events in the vineyards of the Anderson Valley. Whatever the form, I enjoy teaching most when I am able to connect people with the local foods of Mendocino County and the incredible bounty of what our area offers.

LOCAL CHEESE RESOURCES

Northern California’s wine country is home to some of the most beautiful and flavorful artisan cheese in the world today. Our perfect combination of geography and climate provide dedicated artisans with the resources necessary to practice their craft. Unlike the Northeast and the Midwest, our mild winters allow the animals to spend almost the entire year on pasture grasses, and the wonderful flavors of the terroir and the seasons are expressed in the cheese. One of Assaggiare Mendocino’s signature creations are edible table-scapes of local cheeses, fruits and artisan breads; featured at many of our local food and wine events as well as private parties throughout the County.
